Staying Healthy at Millbrook

Netball & Football – This week it is our annual house netball and football competition, children in KS2 will take part in this highly competitive event on Friday 13th July. Year 3,4,5,& 6 Children should come to school in PE kit with T-shirts in house colours
- last week all the children took part in workshops run by Swindon Town Football Club.

Daily Jog – As part of our drive to make and keep us all healthy and fit at Millbrook, many of our classes take part in a daily jog. This is proving very popular and we have seen a big improvement in the children’s fitness and concentration!

Fencing – During last term, children in years 5 & 6 were able to participate in fencing lessons run by a local fencing coach, this was a great experience and they learnt new skills.

Rounders – A team from Year 3 and 4 took part in a inter schools rounders competition at Lydiard Park Academy. They played two matches on top of walking to and from the event! They were a real asset to our school and showed great sportsmanship and support for each other. Well done: Mert, Tawana, Mason, Hugo, Remi, Zara, Halee, Sophie and Ava!

Tennis – Wimbledon here we come….recently a team of four children took part in a singles tennis competition at David Lloyd. They showed some great skills and narrowly missed progressing to the semi-finals! Well done to: Summer, Lucy, Kayden and Aidan.
