Swindon Library & Information Service have been kept very busy preparing for the 2020 Summer Reading Challenge: “Silly Squad” and would like you to be a part of it! This year the challenge will be a digital offer without the usual materials but will include a whole range of online fun for children and their families to take part in. To take part in the Summer Reading Challenge, children (and their parents/guardians) register online and set their own challenge: https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk

Just select “Swindon” from the drop down menu to identify your library authority.

Swindon Libraries has developed an online offer for Swindon children and their families. This launches on Monday 6th July, with a whole host of fun things to watch, do and enjoy!

E-Audiobooks – listen to a book together!

E-Magazines – there is a fantastic range that has something for everyone!

E-comics – a brand new collection of comics that are definitely worth checking out!

Swindon Libraries Summer Reading Challenge Blog – This is where you can let us know what you have been doing! There will be lots going on and we would love for you to send us things, such as photos of your pets with your favourite reading material! Competition Time! – Steve Antony, local author/illustrator and Swindon Libraries Children’s Patron will still be running his brilliant annual art competition and we can’t wait to see all your amazing creative entries again this year!
