Review writing in Falcon Class

In Falcon class we have been writing reviews. We wrote about Camp Green Lake, which is featured in our class book Hole, as well as reviews on Millbrook Primary School.


Kung Hei Fat Choy!

Kung Hei Fat Choy!   Happy Chinese New Year! In Foundation Stage, we have been celebrating Chinese New Year this week. We have made Chinese lanterns, lucky red envelopes filled with Yuan, Chinese dragons, built Chinese houses and chopped vegetables to go into our Chinese stir fry which we ate with our chopsticks!). It’s been a fantastic week! (


The Romans in Year 5 & 6

Year 5 and 6 produced some fabulous homework projects on Julius Caesar.  The children did a fantastic job and we had a wide variety of work, from models of Caesar, fact files, and Roman menus to board games.  We were very impressed with the quality of their work.  


Handing over the money to Wiltshire Air Ambulance

A paramedic from Wiltshire Air Ambulance came to collect the money that these children raised in an event that they organised themselves.  He talked to the children about the day to day running of The Air Ambulance  and what a vital service it is and said how impressed he was with the amount raised and how helpful it was.


Tuck in with Tucker

Congratulations to the children who joined Mrs Tucker this month for breakfast.


Marvellous Monday!

Marvellous Monday was a huge success in Ladybirds and Bumblebees this week! Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents and carers who came in to share and talk about their child’s displays. It was such a positive start to a Monday morning and lovely to read out your ‘proud moments’ about your children! We will continue to open our doors slightly earlier on…

Fundraising for Wiltshire Air Ambulance

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our fundraising for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance. The event was organised by a group of children and the fantastic amount of £161.55 was raised.


Alexander Graham Bell visits KS1!

Key Stage One enjoyed a special visit from Alexander Graham Bell as their WOW starter! They had prepared questions to ask him and he was able to give them lots of information about his life. They then used this information to write fact files.
