Year 3/4 London Trip

Millbrook celebrates the Royal Wedding

We had an amazing afternoon in the beautiful weather on Friday 18th May. The event started with a family picnic on the field, with the packed lunches served in Union Jack boxes. Big Pedal Competition

Ladybirds won the Big Pedal Competition, they were the class who rode their bikes and scooters to school the most during the 2 weeks of Big Pedal (23rd April – 3rd May.) Pete The Dinosaur

Bumblebees, Ladybirds and Caterpillars became paleontologists last term and learnt all about Dinosaurs! They found out so many facts, so if you need to know anything about the Jurassic or Mesozoic period, pop along to the  Foundation Stage classrooms and ask one of their experts! Fantastic Fridays in FS2

Fantastic Fridays have started in FS2! 2 Ladybirds and 2 Bumblebees are picked to become the teachers every Friday. Year 2 – The Fire of London and Bread making!

Year 2 launched their fire of London topic with a visit from Warburton’s. They learnt about the production of bread products, the importance of a balanced diet and then they went on to make their own bread. Egyptians in Year 3 & 4

Our topic this term is Egyptians! We have had an exciting start to our topic with an ancient mummy taking up residence in the studio! The children had to explore this mysterious tomb using only torches. It was a bit spooky!
