Key Stage One are enjoying their annual book advent calendar. What book will be opened today? So far we’ve enjoyed reading Christmas fiction, poems and stories.
We have been learning about the Jewish festival of Hanukkah. The year 2 children taught the Year 1 children how to play Spin the Dreidel. They then used this experience to write a set of commands to teach others how to play.
Key Stage 1 have been learning about Celebrations. For the first two weeks of term, we learned all about the Hindu festival of Diwali and how it is celebrated.
