Pupil Premium Funding was introduced in April 2011 to support disadvantaged pupils. It is allocated to children from low-income families, who have been eligible for free school meals at some point in the last six years, children who are looked after or previously have been looked after or adopted from care. The amount allocated per FSM pupil in 2019/20 and 2020/21 is £1320. Schools are free to spend pupil premium as they see fit, but with the responsibility to use the funding to support these pupils in making good progress and improving attainment. Please see the Pupil Premium Strategy Report to see how we have spent our Pupil Premium Funding and the impact it has had.
