Image of KS1 Trip to Lydiard Park

Today was another fantastic day of learning at Millbrook. All the Key Stage 1 children went on an adventurous walk to Lydiard Park and completed lots of different activities.

We created a bug hotel by exploring our environment; we created beautiful drawings of various minibeasts including spiders! Luckily, we didn't find any real life ones today, and we learnt about the history and the materials used to make St Mary's church at Lydiard Park. A trip to Lydiard Park wouldn't be complete without a visit to the park and some delicious food before a long trip home. All the children were fantastic and showed brilliant respect to the members of the public and the Lydoard Park volunteers too!

Look below to scroll through all the fun activities we did.
